After leaving battalion

Admitted to 148th General Hospital on Saipan, 26 February 1944; treated and transferred to US Naval Hospital #10 (Aeia Heights, Hawaii) on 15 March 1945. On 27 March, discharged for transit to US Naval Hospital Oakland, California. Under treatment at Oakland and USNH Great Lakes through August, 1945. Honorably discharged for reasons of disability on 7 August 1945.
