Biography coming soon.
Older brother Bernie Byron was prisoner for the duration of WWII, captured in Corregidor at the outset and released in Japan. Two younger brothers, Rob Roy Pitts and David Pitts grew up in Fort Worth. Father was Bernie Byron Pitts of Fort Worth who worked for General Dynamics. Edwin’s death was hard on the family. Rob (my dad) has said Edwin carried wire cutters to cut his older brother from prisoner camp.
Thank you for the information, Tony.
Was Curious. My Grandfather name was Robert Pitts U.S Marine. Had 3 Daughters. Was wondering if the same.
Thank you
