Mementos of the First Battalion, 24th Marines.

In the hierarchy of the battalion staff, the small “4-Section” was responsible for procuring, organizing, and delivering supplies to the men, from rations and ammunition to issue “782” gear and clothing. Some of these items have survived the passage of decades and reside in museums or private collections.

Non-regulation belongings.
