Pingback: In It From The First: The Pearl Harbor Contingent | First Battalion, 24th Marines
My Dad was and is the bravest man I’ve known. After the war he joined the Seattle Fire Dept. Before he retired, he was Battalion Chief. He and my Mom, Roberta, we’re always very much in love. They knew how to have a balanced life of family, work, and fun. Dad loved the Marine Corps always honored to serve his country. He kept a diary of his time in the war beginning with the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was the best of Dad’s and I and my brother and sister miss him every day.
