I have a Motorola radio from WWII era with John H. Sanderson, Jr., Chicago, U.S. Marines engraved on it. Any family members who might want it?
Hi Lois – would you please email me at webmaster@ablecompany24.com with specifics on this radio set?
Thank you!
Geoffrey
It is an approximately 6 l/2″ x 4 l/2″ x 3 l/2″ maroon and silver box with a latched front cover (latch present but broken). It has tubes and used a battery (not present and availability unknown). Part of the leather strap handle is missing. It doesn’t work as it is, but I have no way of knowing if it still has the potential to work should a battery be located. Others I’ve located on the Internet are also without batteries.
