Walter R Hajost is my Grandfather, I’m looking to get more information on his service. I’ve asked all of my aunts and none of them know why he was awarded a purple heart. Can someone please point me in the proper direction to go? I’d also like to add that the date of death is wrong, My father Walter A Hajost died on 1/30/2006, my Grandfather died on 2/19/2006
