Biography coming soon.

Claude Henderson, mortar section. Henderson wanted so badly to be an NCO that he had corporal's chevrons sewn onto a spare blouse - once found out, his friends teased him mercilessly. He was at last promoted to corporal, but was shot in the throat during the landing on Tinian and died aboard a hospital ship.
PFC Henderson in 1943. He displays an unusual number of weapons qualification bars–possibly put on for the sake of the photo.
