Citation

* Dombrowski was recommended for the Bronze Star Medal after the Mariana Islands campaign. It is not known if the award was approved.

Edward is buried in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Florida, New York.
NOTE: A Private Edward Dombroski (MCSB 960919), of Montana, also died of wounds at Iwo Jima on 7 March 1945.
