Citation

They rounded us all up after the war ended, and they brought us back to Maui and said, “Go back in your old tent.” I was the only one in the tent. Hayes got it on Saipan, Brewer got it on Tinian, Gladkowski on Iwo Jima, Cook made lieutenant, and I got wounded.
