Biography coming soon.
Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to get in touch with Mr. Buzzard as I believe he may have known my father Joseph B. Coyle. If anyone has contact info for him, kindly let me know. Thank you.
Hi Kerri – sending you an email with further information.
Best,
Geoffrey
Dear Kerri,
My name is Carl Howard Caldwell. My two uncles, Carl Cooper and Howard Cooper served in D Company with your father. Carl was killed in action at Roi Namur; Howard survived all the way through Iwo Jima only to die in an auto accident in Charleston, WV in 1947. I carry both of their names. In the materials left to us by my mother (their sister) I found a photo of Carl, Howard, your father, and another person named Rucker. If you will send me your email address, I will send to you a copy of the photo. Send email address to chcaldwell@anderson.edu. Sincerely, Carl Caldwell

I would also like to write to Mr. Buzzard. My father was Benny Gilliam. They were together in Company C. Thank You.
Rest in peace Great Grandfather. You will be sorely missed.
