Admitted to US Army Hospital #22, Maui, on 26 August 1944; diagnosis “sick” (details unknown). Under treatment until 15 September, at which time transferred to US Naval Hospital #10 (Aiea Heights). Admitted to US Naval Hospital Oakland, CA, in December 1944.
Discharged from hospital and assigned duty at Marine Barracks, Naval Ammunition Depot Puget Sound on 20 January 1945. Hospitalized at USNH Puget Sound in April 1945, and transferred to US Naval Convalescent Hospital Sun Valley, ID.
Under treatment at USNCH Sun Valley through discharge on 12 November 1945.

Hello Don, hopefully you’re still active on this message board! Quite some time ago I thrifted a rack of records from a thrift store in Iowa I can’t remember the name of. I hadn’t checked until now but in the very back slot I found a folder full of photos and letters addressed to your father with his same address and name! I would love to meet you or ship them to return these if possible!
