Enlisted at Philadelphia on 25 August 1942; boot camp at Parris Island and TC New River with Sixth Separate Recruit Battalion. Outposted directly to Dog Company, First Separate Battalion (Reinforced) at New River, North Carolina, on 25 October 1942.

Ordered discharged as result of medical survey on 21 December 1944; left service 10 January 1945.

Eugene Cole was my father. Many thanks for this information, some of which I did not know. I have other photos if you would like them. I served in the USAF Strategic Air Command as an officer during the Vietnam era.
