Biography coming soon.
This gentleman was my great Uncle. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but my father had told me about him. I have a picture of Paul with his arms around my father and his two brothers in Alabama. He’s wearing his uniform and I’m assuming it’s just Pryor to him shipping out for the Pacific. My Dad’s name was Earl Hodge and he was very proud of him. I also served in combat as a U.S. Marine.
Thank you for sharing your memory here and thank you for your service, Edward. I am Shannon Burkhart Lease (one of Paul’s 5 children) Your thoughts were also part of a posting shared on Veteran’s Day 2015 on my Facebook page tribute to my Dad.
Edward: I think we have communicated a few years back. I am the oldest of Daddy’s five children. Where are you living now? I remember your Dad well and visiting him and sibling. Paaula
